This Privacy Policy explains how AI Layer ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you install and use the App on your Shopify store.
To provide its functionality, the App requests read access to your store's product and content data through the Shopify Admin API. This includes product titles, descriptions, collections, and related store content used to generate structured schema and analyze AI search readiness.
The App does not request access to customer personal data, order data, or payment information.
Product and content data is used solely to generate structured data markup, FAQ content, and visibility recommendations for your store. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.
The App processes store data to deliver its features. When you uninstall the App, associated store data is deleted in accordance with Shopify's mandatory data compliance requirements, including responses to data erasure requests.
The App complies with Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks, including requests to view stored data, requests to delete customer data, and requests to delete shop data following uninstallation.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information accessed through the App. Data is transmitted over secure (HTTPS) connections and access is limited to the scopes required for the App to function.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
